SMS Terms

How text messaging works on the Lyteworkgo platform, and how to stop or get help.

Effective September 10, 2026

1. The messaging program

Gonzware LLC, operator of the Lyteworkgo platform, operates a registered text-messaging program for the home-service and field-service businesses that use the platform, and transmits transactional messages on their behalf. If you are a customer of one of those businesses, messages you receive relate to work that business is doing for you: they are triggered by that business's activity on your account, and that business is responsible for having your consent before service messages begin (its agreement with us requires it).

Every message identifies the business it is sent for by name. This is a transactional, service-notification program. It is not a marketing or promotional program, and businesses using the platform are contractually prohibited from sending marketing or promotional content through it.

2. Messages you may receive

Depending on the business and the work in progress, messages may include:

  • Confirmation that a service request was received
  • Quotes ready for review, and reminders about quotes awaiting a decision
  • Appointment confirmations, reschedules, cancellations, and reminders
  • Job status updates, including technician-on-the-way notices
  • Invoices, payment receipts, and payment reminders
  • One-time verification codes when you sign in or e-sign a document (see §6)
  • A one-time confirmation message when you first opt in

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are triggered by activity on your account — a request you submit, an appointment being scheduled, an invoice being issued — rather than on a fixed schedule, so the number of messages depends on how much work the business is doing for you.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

5. How you opt in

We only send the service messages described in §2 to a number when we have a record of consent for it. Consent is captured in one of these ways:

  • You check an unchecked SMS consent box on a booking or request form, next to the disclosure describing this program
  • You turn text messages on yourself in the customer portal, after reviewing the same disclosure
  • You tell a staff member you agree, after they cover the disclosures on this page with you

6. One-time verification codes

Verification codes work differently, because you ask for one at the moment you need it. When you enter your phone number to sign in to a customer portal, choose to receive a code by text so you can e-sign a document, or — as a staff member or technician of a business using the platform — verify your phone number or a new sign-in device, that request is your consent to receive that one code. We send a single message in response. No recurring messages follow from it, and we do not add your number to the program in §2 because of it.

A verification code is a security message rather than a service message, so we send one whenever you ask for it, whether or not you have opted in to the messages in §2. Turning those messages off does not stop you signing in.

Verification codes do not themselves carry STOP instructions. A STOP does, however, apply to every message we send to your number, including sign-in codes — so if you have previously stopped these messages by replying STOP, you will need to reply START before codes can reach you again. Staff and technician sign-in verification can also be delivered by email, so stopping texts does not lock staff out of the staff apps; customer-portal sign-in currently supports codes by text only. If you would rather not receive codes at all, stop requesting them, or ask the business to remove your number from its records.

7. How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. Opting out is always free and never requires you to call, sign in, or explain why.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at the address in §10. You can text START to resume messages after stopping — START restores the consent you gave earlier through one of the methods in §5; it is not itself a way to join the program.

Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchasing anything, and stopping texts does not affect the service a business provides you — they will simply reach you by email or phone instead.

8. Your mobile information

We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are used only to deliver the messages described above, and are shared only with the messaging provider that transmits them on our behalf and with the business whose service you are receiving.

We keep a record of when, how, and by what wording you consented, and of any request to stop, so we can honor your choice and demonstrate that we did. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally.

9. Carriers and delivery

Message delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
